TOTM (Trioctyl Trimellitate)
CAS:3319-31-1
Characteristics: Colorless liquid. TOTM is produced by esterifying 2-Ethylhexanol and trimellitic acid. Low volatility, low migration, good electron resistance and heat resistance. Wires & cables made by TOTM can pass the US UL62 105℃ inspection. For the TOTM-based PVC plastisols, they have higher viscosity than that of DIDP-based ones under the same conditions of softness, and better stability than that of DEHP-based ones.
Uses: Wires & cables, leather & clothes, gloves, shoes, construction materials, PVC plastisols
DOA (Dioctyl Adipat)
CAS:103-23-1
Characteristics: DOA has good characteristics at low temperature and in PVC plastisols, and is the most widely used cold-resistant plasticizer. For the DOA-based PVC plastisols, they have higher volatility than that of DEHP-based ones in finished products with similar softness. DOA has a low electric resistance and is suitable for anti-static processing products such as conveyor belts, flooring materials, etc.
Uses: Wires & cables, leather & clothes, gloves, shoes, construction materials, PVC plastisols, plastic wrap
